Helisupport NZ provides full range of services for turbine helicopter owners
WANAKA, NZ - Helisupport NZ recently completed construction of a self-contained Spray Brake Paint Facility, adding to their already wide range of services to the gas turbine helicopter market.
“We have a full time staff ready to provide seamless support for aircraft interior, exterior and component paint refinishing,” said Sacha Wetzel, Sales and Marketing Manager for Helisupport NZ, based in the South Island of New Zealand. “Our PPG product line gives a full refinishing solution to all types of aircraft surfaces including plastics and polycarbonates.”
The new paint facility joins the list of Helisupport NZ services that also include line maintenance, refurbishment/rebuilds, spare parts sales, aircraft sales and aircraft relocation. “Our intention is to give high quality service as well as provide cost effective options for line maintenance and projects," Wetzel explained.
Company directors Kelly Buick and Jason Buick bring a wide variety of experience in line maintenance in both North America and New Zealand. According to Wetzel, the company performs inspections, parts and component replacement, and component overhaul coordination on many single gas turbine helicopter airframe and engine products. “We have the capability to service Eurocopter, Bell, McDonnell Douglas, Turbomecca, Rolls Royce and Honeywell models to name just a few.”
Helisupport NZ is also experienced in refurbishment, upgrade and conversions of many popular single engine gas turbine helicopters. “We also rebuild and recertify crash damaged airframes,” Wetzel added.
Another capability recently added to the Helisupport NZ list of services is being able to help their clients move any helicopter airframe or spare part. “We can inspect, purchase, pack, ship and provide import/export assistance for our clients across continents,” Wetzel said.
That service comes in handy for the company itself in their own aircraft sales department. “We always have an inventory of first-rate aircraft or we can assist clients in finding the right aircraft for their needs,” Wetzel offered.
